Thiruvasagam Murtrothal

Thiruvasagam is a volume of Tamil hymns composed by the ninth century Shaivite bhakti poet Manikkavasagar. It contains 51 compositions and constitutes the eighth volume of the Tirumurai, the sacred anthology of Tamil Shaiva Siddhanta.

It is the greatest of South Indian Bhakti literature. For more than 500 years it has enthralled Tamil Saivites and brings tears to anyone who hears it.

Lord Siva here is ekan and anekan (one and several). Chanting Thiruvasagam gives everything you need for a happy life.
